NEW ORLEANS—
New Orleans plans to sue theme park operator Six Flags.
Six Flags indicated to to city leaders in New York today it has no plans of re-opening the park. It's been shuttered since Katrina. The city sees that as a breach of contract and says it will sue.
City Attorney Penya Moses-Fields said Six Flags insurers paid it $75 million dollars and that the company failed to re-open or re-develop the property.
