    Jefferson Parish Deputies were called to the scene of a homicide at the La Quinta Inn on Veterans in Metairie. An unidentified adult black female was found lying on the floor inside a room at the inn. The exact cause of death is under investigation.  
There were no signs of forced entry and investigators say there were no visible gunshot or stab wounds.
