  5. Arkansas Bans Popular Lazy Cakes 'Relaxation Brownies'

    In what appears to be the first major crackdown against the snack, the Arkansas Department of Health announced  that it is pulling Lazy Cakes off the shelves of convenience stores and other retailers in the state. It said that the brownies contain melatonin, a remedy often taken by people seeking relief from sleep problems but whose use in foods has not received government approval.

    Optimus Inc., doing business as Marky's of Miami, is recalling
select packages of three Italian-made Engenio Brezzi truffle puree
products, because they could be contaminated with micro-organisms
or other harmful substances that could cause gastrointestinal
disease or other health problems. No illness has been reported. The
truffle purees were sold in Arkansas, Alaska, California, Florida,
Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey,
New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Texas

the drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, owned by Transocean Ltd. and
