    Sheriff Craig Webre announced the first of its kind event in Lafourche Parish this Thursday morning. At 5:00 AM, officers from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana State Police, Thibodaux, Golden Meadow and Lockport Police Departments along with several members of Probation and Parole searched the parish from top to bottom for DWI offenders as part of Operation Tackling Impaired Drivers.  The Operation was coordinated with the full support of the local judiciary.
