On September 8, 2011 at approximately 6 pm, in the 2300 block of Frenchmen Street, an elderly man let someone in his house who claimed to be with an agency that fixes homes and gives away free furniture. Once inside, the suspect walked through the house identifying items he was going to remove from the house and later replace.
