  5. 80% Of Something You Are Entitled To 100% Of Is Not A Bargain

A few months back I threw out the idea that this fuddy duddy little document here, the U.S. Constitution, gave the State Courts near exclusive power over any cases concerning foreign countries and a state. I was told that the Constitution didn’t matter because the Editors of the Times Picayune and some publicly funded marine biologists had oil scarred dolphins and turtles to care for.

  17. LA Votes To "Restore" The Good Ol' Boy Network

Well those high fallutin', English-accented louts at BP are learning that if you want to do business in the United States you have to do business with her politicians; and while much of the Gulf South, Louisiana included, is doing joyous cartwheels down Canal Street, sipping Dom Perignon purchased with BP extortion payments, I provide the only sane voice in the room yelling "Stop! Treading on thin, unconstitutional ice!" As if that mattered to anyone, anymore.
