    Today, Mayor Mitch Landrieu announced that the New Orleans African American  Museum is the recipient of a $3 million CDBG grant from the City of New Orleans.  The $3  million represents nearly half of the $6 million “New Orleans African American  Museum (NOAAM) Acquisition & Improvement Public Facility Project” which will  improve historic Treme structures to be included in the museum’s expanded  footprint.
