Drew Brees, Saints Surge Past Seahawks
Drew Brees threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns as the New Orleans Saints throttled the Seattle Seahawks at the Superdome Sunday 34-19.

Brees was 29-of-43, with two interceptions in the game. He completed his 1,850th pass as a Saint in the second quarter to break a record held by Archie Manning. Marques Colston and Robert Meachem caught two touchdowns a piece. Colston finished the game with 8 catches for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns.

"Today we played at times as well as we have all season, and as well as we have ever." Brees said after the game. "That gets you excited, and you can imagine if we can just get all the weapons back ."

The game was never in question, as the Saints scored touchdowns on five straight possessions, and jumped out to a 21-6 lead in the second quarter. Chris Ivory led the Saints in rushing with 99 yards on 23 carries, and a touchdown.

The Saints improve to 7-3, with a short week of practice. The team will hit the road to play at the Dallas Cowboys onThanksgiving Day. New Orleans is now one game behind the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South Standings.
