The Cardinals defense intercepted three passes by Drew Breesand went on to a 30-20 victory over the New Orleans
Saints on Sunday. The Saints dominated turned the ball over four times in the loss.Kerry Rhodes returned Ladell Betts' fumble for a score in the third quarter and, with 10 seconds to play, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie returned an interception 28 yards for the game-clinching touchdown.
The Saints again had problems with their kicing game, John Carney hit his first two field goals, but missed a 29 yard chip s hot that would've give the saints a 16-13 advantage.
"We didn't come here to play like that." Carney said, "We got to get back together this week and correct the mistakes and move forward."
Drew Brees finished 24-39 for 279 yards two touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
Brees disappointed in the wasted opportunities.
"Had a lot of trips down into the redzone, four of them, and only came back with one touchdown and three field goal attempts obviously that's not gonna cut it."
