NEW ORLEANS - Tulane has received a verbal commitment from McDonogh 35 defensive tackle Kenny Welcome.

Welcome stands 6-2, and weighs 275 pounds. Welcome said he was also considering Arkansas and Stanford.

Welcome is the 6th commitment in the Tulane class of 2010, and the first from the city of New Orleans.
