Hornets fall to Knicks despite big efforts from Paul and Okafor
The Hornets can't defend and until they do, they'll have more nights like Monday in New York.

The Knicks scored 40 points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 117-111 victory Monday night at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks made 12 of 20 shots in the fourth quarter.

The Hornets led 81-77 before New York took charge for its first win of the season.

Chris Paul scored 32 points and handed out 13 assists. Center Emeka Okafor scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Former Salmen star Chris Duhon scored 18 points and handed out 9 assists for the Knicks.

The Hornets (1-3) host Dallas Wednesday night at the arena. Tipoff is 8:30 pm.
