Our VooDoo Athlete of the Week hails from the "best bank" and he sure was on his best game at the AllState Sugar Bowl national prep classic.

O. Perry Walker's Rashad Ray was named to the all-tournament team. In the 3 games of the tournament Ray scored 44 points, including 19 points against Riverside in the semi-final round. With 16 seconds left in the game Ray hit the game winning three-pointer to advance O. Perry Walker into the championship game.

"We played off the big man and that gave him an oppurnity at the end of the game where they had to switch off left him with an easy match-up," O. Perry Walker's head coach Brian Gibson says.

Playing in the AllState Sugar Bowl Prep Classic made Ray learn a lot about not only his team, but himself as he takes over the leadership role as the point man for the Chargers.

"At practice we went over everything," Ray explains. "Learned more stuff about different teams. We went there to win a championship."
