Today the wheel landed on Jeff Johnson -- wanted for 2nd degree murder in the death of Sterling Addison on the night of August 15th in the 79-hundred block of Shamrock Drive in New Orleans East.

New Orleans, LA Members of the New Orleans Police Department have issued an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Jeff Johnson wanted in connection with the murder of Sterling Addison. The offense occurred August 15, 2009 at approximately 9:00 P.M., in the 900 block of Shamrock Street.
According to investigators, Seventh District officers responded to a call of a "male down", and upon arrival, located the victim lying in the driver's seat of a vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the torso. He was pronounced dead on scene.
During the course of the investigation, Homicide Detective Matthew McCleery positively identified Jeff Johnson ( last known address 2221 Delachaise Street) as the person responsible for the murder and secured an arrest warrant for Second Degree murder.
