Ingredients
1 pound ground beef 80/20
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced celery
1 tablespoon of Lemoine's Season Em Up or your favorite seasonings
1 teaspoon basil
1 bay leaf
1 heaping tablespoon beef bouillon granules/powder
3 to 4 cups of water
one 14.5 oz. can of Del Monte fresh cut diced potatoes or your favorite brand
one 14.5 oz. can of Del Monte fresh cut diced sliced carrots or your favorite brand
one 14.5 oz. can of Hunt's fire roasted diced tomatoes or your favorite brand
Cooking Instructions
1. On medium high heat, brown ground beef with onions and celery, then strain and discard the oil and juice.
2. Add Lemoine's seasoning, basil, bay leaf and beef bouillon and turn heat to high. Cook down for about 5 minutes.
3. Now, add the water, potatoes, carrots and diced tomatoes. Bring soup to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
