PREP

NOTE: You will need a baking pan large enough to hold your baby back ribs. Also, your baking pan should have sides because the baby backs will produce drippings.

1. Line the baking pan with heavy duty aluminum foil.
2. Be sure to thaw out your baby back ribs.

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, evenly coat both sides of the racks with your dry rub. Then, lay racks, meat side up, on the baking pan.

2. When your oven reaches the 325 degree set point, insert the pan of racks. Allow your baby back ribs to bake, uncovered, for about an hour and a half.

3. While your ribs are baking, set three sheets (18 inch wide) of heavy duty aluminum foil on a nearby table or flat surface. (Reynolds Wrap works well.) Also, pour some BBQ sauce into a bowl and have a basting brush handy. NOTE: You'll need just over ½ cup BBQ sauce per rack.

4. Just before removing your baby backs from the oven, lower the temperature to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, remove your ribs from the oven.

5. Dip your brush in the drippings and baste the ribs. Now, use the same brush to layer on the BBQ sauce.

6. Wrap each baby back rack in a sheet of aluminum foil. Be sure to completely cover each rack. Then, place the rack back on the baking pan. Repeat this step for each rack.

7. Return the racks to the oven as quickly as possible and allow the ribs to bake at 275 degrees for another hour and a half.
