Ingredients
4 to 6 thin cut boneless pork chops
About 1 pint whole milk
House Autry chicken breader or you’re your favorite seasoned chick fry/batter (approximately 2 cups)
vegetable oil
Method
Place pork chops in a bowl or pan and pour milk until the chops are covered.
- Meanwhile, place cooking oil in a skillet and turn heat to medium-high.
- Pour chicken breader into a gallon zip lock bag.
- As the oil heats up, remove pork chops from the milk wash, then, place the chops into the batter. Seal and shake the zip lock until each pork chop is generously coated with batter.
- Place chops in the skillet one at a time. Allow chops to fry for about 1 minute, then, using tongs, carefully flip each chop. Continue flipping every minute until both sides are golden brown. NOTE: Frying time is about 5 minutes.
