Web Master Joe Rawley

Joe Rawley comes to WGNO from Lake Charles (KPLC-TV), with a stop in Baton Rouge (WAFB-TV) along the way.

Joe was the Sunrise producer at KPLC, and also filled in as web editor and assignment manager at different times, Then in Baton Rouge he was the primary web producer, helped to create My 9 News at 9PM, and also wrote the noon and 5PM newscasts.

Joe began his assignment at WGNO on Good Morning New Orleans as the morning reporter and producing our 11AM newscast, but is now managing our website, WGNO.com. Even though he misses the fun he had on GMNO, now he's sharing our south Louisiana culture with everyone in the world!

Joe is a native of Louisiana, so New Orleans is almost home to him. In fact, he's wanted to move to the Crescent City for years! Since he's been here, he looks forward to exploring more of the small towns and getting to know the people in Southeast Louisiana.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys watching a good movie, reading, and catching up with all his family and friends spread across the country and around the world . . . oh, and cheering on his alma mater, the Northwestern State University Demons. Back in Baton Rouge, he was involved in the Capitol Correspondents Association who present the "Gridiron" sketch comedy show that makes fun of area newsmakers.
