After spending four years as a Texan, Jocelyn Lockwood is excited to call New Orleans home.

Originally from Boulder, Colorado, she traveled to the Lone Star State to work for the NBC affiliate in Denison, Texas. After reporting for six months, she found her place on the desk as anchor, and eventually executive producer, of the 5pm, 6pm, 9pm and 10pm newscasts, but she refused to give up her roll as a reporter.

During her time in Texas, Jocelyn worked tirelessly to cover general assignment stories including crime, the economy and severe weather. She was awarded the Lone Star Emmy Association's Excellence in My Market Award as well as a nomination for a Lone Star Emmy.

Prior to living in Texas, Jocelyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting and a minor in Spanish. During her time at OSU, she traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to intern in the CNN Investigative Unit.

Now, Jocelyn enjoys telling stories from both the streets and the anchor desk, and is proud to have the privilege to do so in New Orleans. She's always looking for a good story and encourages you to e-mail her with any ideas at Jocelyn@wgno.com.

When she's not at WGNO, you can find Jocelyn exploring the city's rich history and culinary scene or spending time with her family and rescue pup Lucy.
