KENNER, La.—
An elementary school teacher is one of three people arrested on charges of running a methamphetamine laboratory in Kenner.Investigators executed a search warrant Tuesday and found a grinder, a supply of chemicals, coffee filters and burnt foil. Also found were clear plastic bags containing residual amounts of a clear substance that tested positive for meth.
Police booked 37-year-old Monique Bordelon, 33-year-old James Miller and 31-year-old Gregory Brown with operation of a clandestine laboratory for unlawful manufacturing of drugs and possession of methamphetamine.
Police say Bordelon is a teacher at John Clancy Elementary School in Kenner. School officials said Bordelon is entitled to a conference with the school supervisor to discuss the allegations before any disciplinary action is taken
