LAROSE, La. -
The 8th grade student from LaRose Cut-Off Middle School in Lafourche parish died Saturday Morning according to the Lafourche Coroner's office.
The student, 15 year-old Justin Doucet, brought a gun into school this past Monday, pointed the gun at the teacher and fired into the air.
He then went into a nearby bathroom and shot himself in the head.
No others were hurt.
Among the boy's things was diary entries and pictures showing him shooting many people at the school.
The boy died of a single self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head after staying a week in critical care.
