A 21 year-old man was killed after a shooting Saturday morning in Treme, according to NOPD Officer Frank B. Robertson.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
Police say the shooting happened shortly after midnight in the 1900 block of St. Ann Street.
The man was shot multiple times and died on the scene, Robertson said. The man was previously arrested for domestic abuse and other minor criminal charges.
