4 - 12 oz New York Strip sirloin steaks

1/4 cup cracked black peppercorn

RATATOUILLE

2 tbs olive oil
Salt and peper to  taste
1  eggplant
1  zucchini
1 yellow squash
2  tomatoes
2  oz chopped  garlic
2  tbs chopped  basil
2  tbs  chopped  thyme
1  yellow onion
1/4  oz  chopped  kalamata olives

Cut all vegetables to medium dice.
In a  large  pan,  place the olive  oil, when hot add the eggplant, sauté until brown then add the rest of the vegetables and herbs.
Season to taste, cook for 15 minutes.  Set aside.
