The NFL's lockout is finally over and Saints players, managers, and coaches are gearing up to start the upcoming season.
The team is now working to piece together a roster. As of this morning, the Saints were able to start signing their draft picks and rookie free agents, and begin negotiations with veteran free agents.
Of course the fans, the "Who Dat Nation" is ready to get the season started.
10 year old, Korbin Orozco said, "I am happy. Finally our Saints are going to come back and win another Superbowl."
Korbin's older brother, Frankie said, "We were frustrated becasue the owners were being really greedy to treat the players that way."
Saints Fan, Tim Vellow said, "Football is back, yes, football is back."
Because of the lockout, players missed some key summer mini-camps, but fans don't think it will affect the game.
"They say they've been working out at Tulane University Gym to stay in shape," Julien Coleman said.
Training camp is set to begin on Thursday.
The Saints will play their first regular season game on September 8th against the Green Bay Packers.
