Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Mid-City that occurred around 1 p.m. that sent an unidentified man to the hospital.
The 25-year-old man was shot in the neck at the intersection of Conti and North Miro streets, said NOPD Officer Frank B. Robertson. The man was transported to the Interim LSU Public Hospital.
Robertson said the man remains in stable condition Sunday afternoon. Police are searching for a motive and the incident is still under investigation.
