Vice President Joe Biden visited New Orleans Sunday to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, before he addressed the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America being held in New Orleans. During his speech, he reiterated the United States firm commitment to remain allied with Israel.

Vice President Joe Biden addresses a crowd of about 2,500 hundred people in New Orleans. They are the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America. He says the United States is a firm ally of Israel. And even before his speech to kick off this gathering, he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Peace talks with Israelis and Palestinians broke down in September and this meeting in New Orleans may symbolize some movement.
