Pictures: Pastor Fasts Against Violence
Pastor John Raphael will spend days and nights on the neutral ground at MLK and Claiborne, fasting and praying to calm the violence in New Orleans. He is calling for truce, specifically within the African American community to stop killing each other. He has posted the picture of young murder victim Jeremy Galmon, along with several truce signs all around the area. He is also getting support from local radio stations, like Q93 in this effort.

Pastor John Raphael fasts against violence this week. He will sleep, and pray consistently on the neutral ground at MLK and Claiborne about the consistent violence in New Orleans. He's calling on a truce within the African American community and for rappers and radio stations to stop promoting violent music. Local stations are supportive of his efforts.
