ELMWOOD—
Not the ending Saints fans were hoping for, or even expecting. In Seattle, the Saints are now out of the playoffs.Saints fans had a good time cheering on their 2010 Super Bowl champs at the Fox and Hound in Elmwood as the team played the Seahawks. The bar had lots of TVs and football food.
"Very intense game. Very intense game," said Saints fan Jamal Randolph.
It was another rollercoaster of emotions during this game from a nail-biter, to the high of optimism, then disappointment, but these are loyal fans.
"It's a lot of pressure and they're handling their business. I like that," Randolph said.
"Julius Jones has impressed me so far 'cause he's steppin' up since Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory are out. I wish Reggie Bush was in the game more," said Saints fan Jayda Jones.
Saints fans say it's been kind of a tense season to watch because the other teams have been trying to beat the Super Bowl champions of the world.
"So I think everybody brought their A-game whenever they came to play us so I knew it was going to be hard but i do think we did well, 'cause we won 11 games," Jones said.
"Last year it was all a dream and it came true," said Saints fan Jessica Picou.
But now it's over, and the Saints will not be headed to the Super Bowl this year, but that's okay with some fans.
"Who dat! Yeah, I'm proud. I'm proud whether they win or lose. I'm still a Saints fan, even though I'm from Georgia, I love the Saints," said Saints fan Robert Williams.
And these fans will bring all their spirit for the Saints next season.
