Two Dead in St.Charles Parish Plane Crash

A plane crash in St. Charles Parish killed two people. The crash happened at the parish airport in Ama at about 4:30 p.m. According to sheriff's deputies the plane crashed on take-off and burst into flames. The investigation will resume at the crash scene as soon as the sun's up in the morning. Sgt. Dwayne Lagrange, St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office explained, "It is my understanding that it was an experimental aircraft with dual controls. One of the aircraft that are home-made." No names released yet on the two people killed. The NTSB will oversee the investigation.
