A local woman who's captured her love for our city through a lens is sharing it through art. 72-year-old Saja McCarthy has been taking beautiful pictures 2001. That's when she bought a digital camera after her mother passed away.

Photography is a passion even Saja is surprised she's got a talent for because she has trouble with her eyesight! But if you a look at her beautiful photos she's captured of New Orleans, her talent shines.

She glues the pictures onto tiles. It's a tedious process that takes days, but she doesn't have to go far to do it! "I can work from home," she said. "It's nice because I can stay in my slippers!"

Saja continues to impress those who buy who her work. "People look at the photo and say, 'Did you take that picture?' and I say, yes I did!"

And she plans to take pictures for many years to come!
