The incident is reported to have occurred on March 7, 2010. At about 3:00am on that date the 20-year old victim flagged down a taxi in the 500 block of Frenchman Street.

She asked the driver to take her to her parents' Uptown New Orleans home. The driver instead drove her all the way to Baton Rouge, where he exited the interstate and stopped in the 1700 block of America Street.

He then forced the victim to perform oral sex on him before she was allowed to exit the vehicle. She then called a friend who brought her to a Baton Rouge Police Department precinct to report the crime.

The victim describes the suspect as a black male, 30-40 years old, 6'0" tall, 275 lbs., with very short hair and a gap between his crooked front teeth. The vehicle he was driving is an older model large white conversion van with a high roof and the word "Taxi" and a phone number in black lettering on the passenger side. The interior door handles on the passenger side doors were either broken or disabled, preventing her escape.

Anyone with information on the identity of this suspect is urged to contact the Baton Rouge Police Department Sex Crimes Unit at 225-389-3853 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
