Three Arrested in Kenner Meth Lab Home
KENNER - On Tuesday, June 23, 2009, Kenner Police Narcotics Detective David Barrett and Officer Mark McCormick received information that individuals were manufacturing crystal methamphetamine at 3319 Colorado Avenue, in Kenner. Detectives conducted an investigation in reference to the complaint and later obtained a search warrant for the residence. Upon conducting a search of the home, members of the Kenner Police Department Narcotics Investigation Division, located a Clandestine Laboratory used to manufacture methamphetamine inside the home. In addition, detectives located a grinder used to break up the precursor, Pseudoephedrine, muriatic acid, and acetone, coffee filters, and burnt foil used to separate the product from the chemical reaction, including clear plastic bags containing residual amounts of a clear substance which tested positive for methamphetamine. Detectives were also assisted by DEA who responded to the residence and assisted in securing the chemicals and dismantling the laboratory.

Monique Bordelon, 37, James Miller, 33, and Gregory Brown, 31, all who provided the home address of 3319 Colorado Avenue, Kenner. Bordelon, Miller, and Brown were charged with the crimes of Operation of a Clandestine Laboratory for unlawful manufacting of a controlled dangerous substance, and illegal possession of a schedule II controlled dangerous substance, Methamphetamine.

Bond on Bordelon was set at $ 105,000. At the time of this press release no bond had been set for Miller or Brown. Both Miller and Brown remain in custody of the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center.
