DULARGE—
Two Houma teens died Saturday evening when their vehicle crossed the center line and struck another vehicle on LA 315 in the Dularge community in Terrebonne Parish.At approximately 6:30 p.m., a 2005 Pontiac G6, driven my Mckinley Scott Jr., 19, was northbound on LA 315 just south of Houma. He entered a right curve in the roadway and crossed the centerline. The Pontiac struck a southbound 2007 GMC Denali, driven by Olga Vela, 43, of Morgan City.
Vela sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Terrebonne General Hospital by Acadian Ambulance. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene, and his 15-year-old passenger, Rolanda Garner, was pronounced dead after arriving at the Leonard Charbert Medical Center.
Alcohol is not suspected, however, toxicology results are pending. Seat belts were used by all occupants.
