NEW ORLEANS—

ABC 26 News is the first and only local news team allowed on set of the Green Lantern. We got the backstage pass Thursday at Lakefront Airport.

Green Lantern Reps say New Orleans was a perfect location for the big budget comic book adaptation. Louisiana's great tax incentives, a large local crew base and even the Lakefront Airport were all key reasons for filming here.

The Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and Peter Sarsgaard.

Green Lantern hits theaters next June.
