Floodgates To Close Due To Hurricane Ida, Strong Winds

TERREBONNE—

Due to Hurricane Ida, and strong East winds, the Terrebonne Levee & Conservation District has plans to close the Humble Canal Auxiliary Structure at approximately 3 p.m. today.

The Bayou Terrebonne and Little Caillou Floodgates will more than likely be closed sometime this evening. Bayou Dularge Structure will remain open tonight, but may be closed sometime tomorrow.

Conditions are being continuously monitored by the TLCD personnel and these structures will reopen when they are favorable.
