A Poplarville, Miss., man on Friday was indicted on federal charges of communicating threats through a
social networking Website.U.S. Attorney Jim Letten says 20-year-old Dyron L. Hart, a former student at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, used a fictitious name and photograph when he threatened to injure andkill students at the school. Authorities say he transmitted the threat through Facebook, a popular, social networking site. If convicted, Hart faces up to five years in prison and a fine
of $250,000.
