NEW ORLEANS—
Last night St. Charles Parish deputies located Eric Gros, 28, in the Des Allemands area after a massive search for the fugitive that forced his ex-wife into his home. Eric Gros' ex-wife was also located in the Des Allemands area.At approximately 6:45 p.m. Saturday evening, Nicole Gros, 25, the ex-wife of Eric Gros, went to her former residence at the 100-block of Dixie Drive in Des Allemands to retrieve some of her belongings. Unaware that Eric Gros was at home at that time lying wait for her. According to a witness, Eric Gros began arguing with Nicole and then physically dragged her into the home.
Prior to deputies arriving on the scene, witnesses observed Eric Gros physically drag his ex -wife Nicole out of the residence and order her into his Dodge 1500 truck (dark green w/ silver strips, and chrome rims) at gunpoint, where they fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Gros is being charged with Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault.
