Landrieu Focuses on Improving Student Outcomes, Competitiveness As Congress Considers Education Reform

Today, Sen. Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., and other members of the Moderate Democrats Working Group signaled their commitment to work with President Obama and the U.S. Congress to enact meaningful reform in America's public schools that will close the achievement gap and help ensure our nation's competitiveness in the global economy. The Senate has recently begun efforts to reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
