Holly's Holly-day Treats

Ingredients:
1 can crescent rolls (fat free if ya can)
1 block cream cheese (fat free again ... or sometimes at the holidays they have cranberry flavored), softened
1 4 oz bag chopped pecans (or walnuts if you prefer)
1 can WHOLE cranberry sauce
1/2 stick melted butter (margarine... smart balance whatever you like) or 1 whisked egg white
1/8 cup flour
1/8 cup powdered sugar (optional)

If using powdered sugar, mix well with flour and spread on work surface.
Open crescent rolls, roll out on top of flour. ACTUALLY roll the dough out to make it a tad larger.
Spread softened cream cheese over crescent rolls leaving about a 1/2" naked edge on one end.
Sprinkle nuts all over and spread cranberry sauce over cream cheese.
Roll up using naked edge as a sealer.
Cut into 1/4" or so rounds and place on a baking sheet.
Brush with melted butter or egg white, then flip them and do the same to the other side.
Bake at 325 for about 20 minutes or until crescent dough is browned and done.
