BREAKING NEWS: Fatal Fire In Belle Chasse

BELLE CHASSE, La.—

Around 3:30 Monday morning a Plaquemine Parish Sheriff's deputy was on patrol when he noticed a fire coming from a home in Belle Chasse.

A trailer and house combined into one dwelling in the 200 block of East 3rd Street housed four families when it caught fire according to Sgt. Marie of the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's office.

Most of the residents were able to get out safely, however, Larry Hicks died in the fire.
