Kenner Police Investigate Late Night Death
On November 25, 2009, at 11:23 p.m., Kenner police responded to a call of a subject slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in front of 2921 Kentucky Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Louis Smoot, age 17, of Kenner, unresponsive in the driver's seat of a green Pontiac Grand Prix. Smoot was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are not ruling this a homicide until an autopsy is performed on Friday, November 27th, to determine an exact cause of death.
