WASHINGTON, D.C. -
Our hometown New Orleans Saints are having a profound impact on our community! Segments on television have featured the positive impact on morale the Saints have had on the local area military troops serving overseas. The additional interest in the team and its historic impact also have generated more fans to the games which has had a very positive jobs and economic impact for a city that has been devastated economically since Hurricane Katrina. Congressman Cao wants to know your thoughts on how the Saints' historic season has impacted and benefited our community and city. He is looking for constituents to submit a brief statement for public recognition of approximately 200-220 words (one minute in length) about how the Saints' wins have positively impacted our economy, helped our troops, or any other way in which the Saints have brought a positive result to the city of New Orleans. Each week, Congressman Cao will select a constituent for official recognition on the House floor in order to feature that constituent's comments about the Saints' contribution. The speech will be broadcast live on C-Span and featured on Congressman Cao's official website and YouTube Channel.
