New Orleans Pastors Respond To Toddler's Murder
Pastors are responding in various ways to the death of two year old Jeremy Galmon. The Reverend Bill Terry of St. Anna's Episcopal Church writes the names of murder victims on the walls, and he wrote not just hte name of the toddler but also the name of an 88 year old woman. He wants people to remember life is precious at any age, but perhaps people may get involved when the very young or old are victims of violence. Meanwhile the Reverend Willie Gable of Progressive Baptist Church wants to reach out to grandmothers. Jeremy Galmon was in his grandmother's car when he was shot on Sunday. Gable says grandmothers used to command a lot of attention from young people. He'd like that to happen again.
