Marine Laid To Rest
Sgt. Joseph Bovia laid to rest with full military honors. Funeral was held at First Baptist New Orleans, and Bovia was buried at Garden of Memories in Metairie. The 24 year old Marine was shot and killed in Afghanistan. He is being remembered as a hero, patriot and warrior.

Marine Remembered As Hero
Sgt. Joseph Bovia's funeral attended by hundreds, especially by those in uniform. Members of law enforcement and military came to pay their respects. Christian Motorcycle Association, Patriot Guard Riders came its show their support. Bovia was buried at Garden of Memories in Metairie.
