Grand Isle fishing

With coastal fishing off limits in Grand Isle because of BP's oil leak, fishermen must take their angling to inland areas. But the bayous, bays, and marshes are proving to be good spots for catching a cooler full.

At the end of the day, anglers clean their catch on the docks at the Bridgeside Marina on Grand Isle. The portions of fish that don't go home for the frying pan are an easy meal for birds and dolphin.
