Photojournalist / Editor - The best news photography team in New Orleans seeks great storyteller to join our national award winning staff. We are looking for a reliable photojournalist with a passion for news and the ability to shoot meaningful pictures, gather compelling sound, edit with flair, and work well independently, as well as when teamed with reporters. Duties include live truck operation, ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and flexible schedules. We are searching for a photojournalist who wants to contribute more to a story than just pictures; a thinker who understands the story comes first and style comes second. New Orleans is a busy news town, so an applicant's resume tape should show examples of well-executed spot and general news. We strive for the elements that make a great feature story (sequenced video, compelling natural sound and interesting characters) to dominate our general and spot news pieces. Three years broadcast experience, valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
